Before My Body Fails

Imagination precedes science, and reality is not as obvious and simple as we may think. That’s why we need to appreciate the present moment as this moment will never come again.

Before My Body Fails

Before my body fails I want to
Live in the present, but ready for the future
For a dream once dreamt can never be
Undreamt but can be watered down by fear
And pride

Before my body fails; I want to move forward;
No false starts, no looking back for my time is precious
And not a single minute can be spared.
For a dream once dreamt can never be repeated
And can only be imagined while one is a wake..;
The results being always a puzzle, bits of meaningless

A dream once dreamt can forever change you,
Living your life in full potential every second, Minute
And hour of your life and fear itself won’t distract me
For I am no longer its slave but a master of its purpose

Pain, Sorrow, Misfortune.., are all part of the larger system of life we all have to go through and we must recognize its presence in order to move forward.

Years of uncertainty, days of sorrow,
Will end in a triumphant escape of joy..;
As inner peace becomes part of me.

Pain had plagued my being,
Yet it endured all and it’s about to
Come forth into a world uncertain of
It’s presence.

An inner desire.., yearning to be recognized,
A being no one knows of. Is about
To be birthed.

Our father, fathers’ curse that was
Our curse is no more.

Pain is the birth of all creation,
And I have endured it, to renew
Myself in a condemned world.

Hidden love

I bet this has happened to you; and even if you don’t accept it is real and happens to many people to love someone  that you can’t have, though painful it is what makes life interesting and beautiful.

Hidden love

I love someone, but that someone
Doesn’t know.
Her brown eyes melt me down
Every time she looks at me.

Every time I look at her my heart
Feels like a salvo and her svelte
Figure removes every day

Her smile, smell and style makes me
More and more in love every time
I come across her.

But my love is in vain as someone else
Has her heart; and I will..; and always
Be, nothing but a friend.

Fourteen days and Nights

No one ever wants to deal with break ups and if you are already in one it seems that everything you touch or see reminds you of them and you would do anything to have those moments back.

Fourteen days and Nights

Fourteen days and fourteen nights have
Passed my love; but still your love hasn’t
Departed from me,

Fourteen days aren’t enough to constrain
Your cute coquette croon which hums through
My mind every time I close my eyes.

Fourteen nights aren’t enough to forget the
Pain and emptiness I felt when you left.

The cold nights, and silent mornings have
Made me realize how much of a fool I was
To have let you walk out, of my life.

This one came to me by surprise ..; it came to me early in the morning while I was half asleep. I will range this one as a free verse poem where everything goes but one thing am sure it will do is inspire someone today and in the future.

Deep within the thorns,
A rose flower emerges.

Deep within the darkness of the soil,
A scattered seed sprouts into a seedling.

Amongst the hard rocks,
A vibrant green city of moss thrives.

From an unlikely seed;
The grand majestic mustard tree comes forth.

Thus do not despair ..; where your life is at today.
For your season of harvest has just begun,

Deep inside you, lies a bottom less pit full of potential
You may appear beaten down, condemned by the society

Deep within you, something has been growing,
And you can feel it, it makes you smile
Of how beautiful it is, and once it surfaces;
It will inspire the world.., and beyond.

Life is like a clock

Every second that ticks away merely marks where we have been…; Life is like a clock, we are dying as we are living, but I would prefer to look at it another way. Life is like an ever present horizon extending unstoppably that equalizes us all.

Life is like a clock

Tick tock! Tick tock! the sluggish
Hour hand followed the graceful
Minute hand while the majestic
Second hand outdid their prowess
In each rotation.

For life is like a clock and I refuse
To be the hour hand, for it appears
Lazy and fat, just sitting their
Edging slowly as if it had all the
Time in the world.

I admire the graceful minute hand, the
Person in between.
Never too late, and never too early
Comfortable in the middle, with a slight
Advancement but better than the latter
But still refuse to be in the middle,
Motionless As if dead.

I endeavor to become the second hand
The over achiever, the flamboyant one
They race through life, realizing victory
In everything they undertake.
But still life is like a clock, for even
Though majestic. the sluggish hour hand
And the graceful minute hand soon catches
Up with the majestic one

Imagination, Out of Body Experience, Lucid Dreams..; some of the words used to describe experiences that bring peace to our battered souls, This one shows how these states help us navigate in our every day narratives.

Reflections upon the mirror,
Light bouncing upon my eyes,
I cannot see my reflection….,
And am not blind.

Just as the ghostly movies,
I fell unseen, misplaced, unrecognized.
I feel out of this world, “Am I Alien!”

For short moments I get to see my reflection,
My physical self,
The reality around me,
The emptiness inside;
And I remember why I want to be what I am,

Am a contradiction to modern science.

I live both in the physical and the ghostly world..;
I wish everyone would feel what I feel and see what I see.

Amongst us, they are thriving.
Amongst us, they are scolding.
Amongst us, they are teaching a deaf physical world
Willing not to learn.
Amongst us, they save us.

Reflections upon the mirror,
Am a contradiction to modern science.
I will speak and write!
Hope someone sees and helps themselves.

Just as the ghostly movies,
We share this world.
Am a contradiction to modern science,
And am thankful for seeing both reflections..
Upon my mirror.
